I pretty much suppressed my creativity my whole life… nurturing that connection is a lot like what you described here… I am learning to listen again.. and it’s wild :) thank you for writing this and helping me feel less alone
You never know when inspiration will spark an idea. From a quote, on a podcast, in your journal. Of course, I honestly believe in a daily writing habit. No rules - just write. Watch the world open up in your mind.
Remember: Your brain is an evergreen teen who wants to feel full, satisfied, gifted, brilliant, strong, sexy, cool, and fun.
It’s sick of its parents and teachers, bored to death with itself, burnt out on structure, and questioning everything it is, was, and ever wanted to be.
Watch, read, or do something fresh and refreshing when the well runs dry.
Fresh means your mind’s never ridden it, watched it, tasted it, heard it, sung it, played it, felt it, tried it — or it can’t remember.
Virginity wants variation; rules need bending and breaking, pressure makes precious gems, diamonds cut diamonds, and contrast sharpens tools.
I understand this feeling—it’s unsettling. I recognize it as a state of being uninspired. So then I watch a YouTube video on a philosophical concept that challenges by worldview and gives me food for thought.
While you are sipping your tea, quietly and restfully bathing in curiosity, creativity is brewing. Algorithms are not human. You are. We are. 🤍🕊️
You are so smart. Thank you, it really helps. Being patient and still is hard. But we’ve gotta love the process🤪Xx
“I must patiently and curiously watch the world” 🗺️ I agree with that 100%. When the time is right, ideas will flow on its own.
