Mental diseases exist in all of us, those who are ill have at least one above the "norm". You have applied the model on artists, the scope might be narrow but it provided a frame.
It could be interesting to look for connections between the archetypes with mental diseases and personality disorders.
There might be a connection between them and art is a way to express it.
The Seeker, Saboteur, and Explorer all deeply resonate. All the talk around needing a specific niche to be successful can be daunting. There are areas of art I lean towards more often, but I thrive on creating in different ways. I am (and likely always will be) a “dabbler,” so reading about the explorer was especially liberating. It was the permission slip I needed!
I love this so much! Totally my jam. I am an Explorer combined with Victim/Saboteur. Unfortunately, I was taught that old-timey generational thinking that an artist can't be successful. I found a drawing I did when I was ten and thought, Holy Shit, this is really good! Why didn't my parents notice this as an incredible talent rather than just "play"? Thank goodness for public school art teachers. I look at that drawing often and realize I am capable and deserving of a creative, successful life.
I often feel I am embodying "the child" archetype. Today, I will invite perseverance and grit through one of my projects.
Proud of you El. Honouring all the beautiful things that come with the Child Archetype as well, thank you for bringing so much play to the world.
Yessss love these! Explorer and Seeker ♥️
This is such a beautiful pairing.
Thank you, Amie!

Can I be more than one? I think I'm a Victim/Seeker/Magician. Oh and probably a Saboteur too. I've never been very good at being just one thing.
Oh I think we are MANY! And I love your capacity for being many things at once
I'm reveling in The Seeker and The Magician lately!
A holy combo!
THIS IS INSPIRED GENIUS - thank you for letting it flow and taking us with you on the ride 🪄
Ironically enough I connected with every last Archetype!!
Which didn’t surprise me at all 🤷🏽♀️
I thank you and the Universe for making space for Kindred Souls 🙏🏾✨✨✨
Lover and mentor 💕
Thank you for creating space for artists, and for letting us be seen
Aww, thank you so much 😭
Being an everyman but also a seeker...sigh
Simone. You are an artist. And we need your art.
At the moment I resonate with the Caregiver/Seeker, but definitely recognize the Saboteur that embodies my creative inner obstacles!
Ooo I'm so interested in this combo Michelle! Thank you for championing other people's art.
From caregiver to seeker to … lover… perhaps! I love this so much💙

I am so grateful for the explorers of this world, thank you for taking up space Rachel.
I would say the magician today
Ingrid making magic on a wednesday. Thank you for your art.
I’m both a Sage and Explorer. I live to learn, am endlessly curious, and believe in being free to do what we love!
Sage explorer is incredibly cool.
This is so fun! I feel most connected to The Seeker and The Outlaw 👀
Rebel Violet!! Thank you for your art.
