I really enjoyed the substack live. I won't be joining the inspired collective, because I've opted for other ventures, but I'm glad you're putting it on. I'm nearly 50, and when I was learning how to create for the first time we didn't have Tim Ferriss or Martha Beck . . . I mean, we did, we had their first books but nobody knew them and Tim was misunderstood for a decade (lazy!). I didn't even know about the "War of Art" until after "Big Magic" and I was a mature creator by then.
But I'm still learning, and we all will. Because David Goggins is right, "the mind has the tactical advantage over us", and if we don't know ourselves in this way then we will eventually stand in our own way, even if we're not doing it now. Just wait until mid-life, what Jung called "a crisis of self".
