How do we influence the powers that be to get you to come to Boulder and/or Denver, Colorado?

FYI to all the fellow fans and supporters of Amie, she posted a graphic listing the tour on her socials on Instagram that you can use to help promote. She's not coming near me sadly, but I know lots of folks in the cities where she'll be. I think one of the most influential ways to get her to come to your town is to buy a bunch of her books from your local independent book store. Got a writer's group? Know a good art/creative studio? Organize a book buy... Bookstores host events for authors they know they can profit from--which is business.

Thank you Meagen! All of those things would be a huge help! I think sharing the graphic to stories is pretty powerful since IG doesn't guarantee Amie's followers will see it when she posts.

Just pre-ordered! 💓 Thank you for sharing this!! It’s helpful to hear your process. I have a book being published by Penguin too (currently writing it!) and *already* I find myself tripped up by the vulnerable feeling of wanting it do well and really letting myself care. Watching your journey inspires me to stay open hearted!

I think you're doing a stellar job. (And yes, you do have to be a big name to get any sort of help for book tours). Glad to hear your publishers are doing stuff though, so many get nothing from their publishers.

I have pre-ordered your book and can't wait to read it. I'm looking to use 2026 to really connect with my creativity and explore the link between creativity and the calling for a simple life. And I know you're book will inspire me on this journey.

Also, excited you're coming to Melbourne and hope I can get there. I live a few hours north so don't get down a lot but I will definitely try.

As a newsletter writer myself, I follow lots of them and don’t often take the time to read them. I know ridiculous! I loved your chatty writing and related to your words very much. We are great-minds think alike to a T!

This hit. “This feeling of trying. This feeling of giving a fuck. It’s intense.” I loved everything you wrote and I’m wishing you lots and lots of fun on this tour and a little bit less being scared. But if I was you, I would also be scared, so there’s that. It’s just human nature. I wish I could come to New York but it isn’t in the cards. I’ll support a local bookstore here in Maine and order your book though! 🌟

Dear Amy, are there any plans that the book might be translated to German? Also, I’m pretty sure there’s a way to have an event at a local bookstore in Berlin. The German artist community will def help 🫶🏻

Would love for you to come to New Orleans for a signing. Frenchmen Art & Books and/or Octavia Books are two excellent prospects. If interested, I could get contact info for you.
